What is Magnesium used for?

Magnesium is known for its soothing, relaxing, anti-stress, and protective properties, particularly for the epidermis. However, one of its properties remains relatively unknown outside the scientific world: its ability to soothe reactive skin prone to redness.

Reactive skin, sometimes referred to as sensitive skin, is characterized with nerve endings that overreact to certain external stimuli (changes in temperature, friction, new ingredients). In response, the brain reacts disproportionately, causing irritation, redness, or discomfort.

Once we understand the neurological origin of sensitive skin, we must take action to relieve it. But not just in any way.
